FIG: Lifts suspension of the Gymnastics Federation of Portugal
The Gymnastics Federation of Portugal was notified by FIG’s Secretary General, Mr. André Gueisbuhler, that the POR FED suspension announced on February 16th 2010, was lifted today with immediate effects.

With the recent aproval of the FIG Aerobic World Series competition in Angra do Heroísmo, Portugal will host 4 FIG "trusted stamp" events! It will be a year full of Gymnastics for Portuguese fans!

Portugal will host the Golden Age Gym Festival 2010
The Gymnastics Federation of Portugal and the Municipality of Portimão will host the 2nd UEG Golden Age Gym Festival that will be held from October 3rd to 8th 2010. The event will "kickstart" this weekend with the first infomeeting in Portimao.

FIG World Cup Series: Portimao will be the 3rd event of the circuit!
It's official the FIG Presidential Commission approved the RG FIG World Cup Series Calendar for 2010. The stage organized by the Gymnastics Federation of Portugal in Portimao will be held between the 11th and 14th March 2010.

We are proud to annouce that FIG has entrusted the organization of the IV RG FIG World Cup Series - Cat. A (Individuals and Groups) to the Gymnastics Federation of Portugal. This event will take place from April 16th to April 19th 2009!
