The Portuguese Gymnastics authorities were deeply honoured to share this official day with Prof. Grandi. His participation gave a special flavour to this important milestone in the history of the national Federation

This ceremony was attended not only by the honourable FIG President but also by representatives from the National Sports Governing Bodies (Government, National Olympic Committee, Sports National Confederation), many Sports Federations and of course  representatives from the Portuguese Gymnastics Family - regional associations, club representatives, coaches, judges and gymnasts.

 

All the guests could visit and discovered the result of more than 10 months of works that were needed to achieve this life-time dream! More than 600 square meters used not only for the administrative team of GFP, but also to host our guests and friends. The space is divided in department and board of director rooms, auditorium, archives room and a social area. Next step of this dream: the building up of an All Gymnastics National Training Centre!
