This years edition will be remembered forever! The 2007 Portimao events had the highest number of countries, participants and gymnasts ever. To make it an even more memorable occasion it also had the biggest on-site public attendance ever (sunday)!

Portimão also had the honour to host 4 RG Technical Committee members, as well as old and new RG gymnastics friends from all over the world. On the closing ceremony the president of the Gymnastics Federation of Portugal and the Mayor of Portimão announced the intention of jointly bidding for the 2011 World Championships!
